Homework #3 Catherine Sung

Stuxnet: Anatomy of a Computer Virus from Patrick Clair on Vimeo.

I chose this piece because it was very technical and visually intriguing. It had very smooth transitions from one point to the next and meshed the 3D visuals and typographic motion together very well. It creates 3-Dimensional space and depth with it's transitions, swift motions, and change in views. While the narrator is talking, the pictures and 3D models appear to create info-graphics for the viewer to understand what is going on. There are a lot of 3D models and pictures moving around in this video as well as type that help express the narrator. There's a right amount of visuals as well as type in the video. Because the narrator is talking so much and explaining a lot of complicated ideas, the artist uses only the important words to animate and create pictures to explain the rest.
