I chose this piece because it's very colorful - the constant changes of the visuals matched with the voice that shoots along with each screen has an energy to it. The cold color schemes used make it pop and keep it interesting. It combines different forms of animation from what I can tell; stop motion, digital animation, and clips of videos. Each second shows a new clip, but themes are created and repeated through the piece. The speaker repeats the same three words over and over but each clip is slightly different from the one before it; gradually getting more crazy. Reoccurring animated themes: the figure, skateboard, fish, balloon, dollar bill, brain, eyeball. The animated text throughout the piece changes as well - some looks like stop motion, and some looks like digital animation.. It's hard for me to tell how it was done! Maybe paper cutouts and some on-the-computer animations.
